It would seem that the definition of propaganda is beginning to move away from having one of the most crucial elements that make it meaningful in any discourse on modern activities. The element of 'inaccurate, unreliable, fabricated, exaggerated information, including outright lying' seems to be stepping aside to make room for the more watered down concept of merely propagating one's own views or cause. Which when one thinks about it, basically it is what every mind does when communicating to another mind. How utterly ridiculous this redefining of our vocabulary is becoming. Now it seems one will have to start adding qualifiers to the word to awkwardly and likely inaccurately bring back the missing element, i.e. deceptive propaganda, false propaganda, evil propaganda, untruthful propaganda...
